Pemberton and Associates is working with InterMed, Maine’s largest physician owned primary care practice to identify a candidate for a newly created Controller role on  a driven leadership team in a fast-paced, high potential, growing organization. The Controller will oversee one direct report and work closely with the CFO. Primary responsibilities include:

• developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of internal controls
• budgeting and forecasting and audits that will ensure company assets are adequately safeguarded
• development and maintenance of the company’s operational and capital budgets; 
• financial reporting, including corporate taxes, prepared in compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations. 

Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus package, as well as profit sharing. Staff are primarily onsite with remote work capabilities when needed.
